INCUBATION CAMP BATCH 2 (JUNE 16–20, 2025)

Overview

The Incubation Camp Batch 2, held from June 16 to 20, successfully brought together Japanese IT clients and Filipino institutions for exposure, collaboration, and business exploration. The 5-day program featured institutional visits, cultural immersion, networking opportunities, and strategic business planning across key regions in the Philippines.

 

June 17, 2025: University Visit and Welcome Dinner

  • The delegation was picked up from Best Western Hotel in Clark, Pampanga, and proceeded with a road trip to Pangasinan.
  • The group had lunch at Hagemu Restaurant in Calasiao, known for its local cuisine.
  • In the afternoon, the team visited Lyceum-Northwestern University in Dagupan for a campus and facility tour.
  • The university presented its programs, research initiatives, and potential collaboration opportunities.
  • In the evening, the participants enjoyed dinner at Kainan ni Mang Pepeng’s, hosted by Mr. Jonathan Favi along with two deans from the university.
  • This dinner served as an informal networking event with academic leaders.

      June 18, 2025: Local Exposure and Planning

      • In the morning, the group visited the Dagupan Market, offering the clients a cultural and economic insight into local Filipino communities and commerce.
      • They then traveled back to Metro Manila and checked in at Herald Suites in Makati.
      • In the afternoon, a strategic planning session was conducted at the Meridian Hotel where participants began laying the groundwork for potential partnerships and business expansion.

       

      June 19, 2025: Business Exposure and Tech Event

      • The group visited LGO Connect, a shared working space, for a facility tour and insights on co-working trends and startup environments in the Philippines.
      • Afterwards, the delegation had a brief walkthrough of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) to experience one of the country’s top business districts.
      • In the afternoon, they attended the AWS Seminar at the Arthaland Building, which provided valuable information on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation trends.

      The camp successfully provided participants with:

      • Academic partnership opportunities
      • Local economic and cultural insights
      • Strategic business planning sessions
      • Exposure to startup ecosystems and cutting-edge tech solutions

      The activities fostered collaboration and built connections that may lead to future business engagements and cross-border partnerships between Japanese IT firms and Filipino institutions.
